About the role
Mr. Handyman of Hendersonville is looking for a driven, personable neighborhood sales representative to help us grow our customer base right here in Middle Tennessee. This is a door-to-door canvassing role — you'll be the face of the brand in local neighborhoods, starting conversations with homeowners and booking estimates for our handyman services. If you love talking to people, thrive on hitting targets, and want to earn based on your results, this role is built for you.
What you'll do
Knock doors in assigned residential neighborhoods in Hendersonville, Gallatin, Goodlettsville, and surrounding areas
Start genuine conversations with homeowners about their repair, maintenance, and to-do list needs
Book in-home estimates and schedule appointments directly with our CSR team
Identify and note "not home" and callback opportunities to maximize your canvassing territory
Track daily door counts, conversations, and booked estimates and report results to the manager
Represent the Mr. Handyman brand with professionalism — branded uniform, clean appearance, respectful approach
What we're looking for
Outgoing, confident communicator — you don't mind rejection and bounce back fast
Honest and trustworthy — homeowners are letting you into their lives, character matters
Self-motivated — you manage your time in the field and stay productive without someone looking over your shoulder
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Comfortable on your feet — this role involves walking neighborhoods for extended periods
Prior door-to-door, sales, or customer-facing experience a plus — not required
Must pass a background check

About Mr. Handyman of Hendersonville
We're a locally owned home services company serving homeowners across Hendersonville, Gallatin, Goodlettsville, Madison, and the greater Nashville area. Our technicians are background-checked, uniformed, and arrive in branded vans. We offer flat-rate transparent pricing and back our work with a one-year warranty and our Done Right Guarantee. Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
